Lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, PhD in Economics from Bristol and LSE, Executive Leadership Programme at Oxford University. With 20 years of professional experience, she founded and directed the former Center for Free Competition at UC, worked at Deloitte as Director of Regulation and Competition Law and Economics, Legal Manager and Compliance Officer for the CINTAC Group, and In-House counsel for CORFO. She was selected as one of the 100 leading women in Chile in 2016. Elina has been an advisor to the ABA Rule of Law Initiative, as well as to the governments of Ecuador, Bolivia, and Costa Rica in matters of Regulation and Competition. Since 2008, she has been a professor at UC Law School in subjects of ethics and corporate scandals.
